Fire Alarm Systems

Commercial Fire Alarm Systems must meet NFPA 72 (National Fire Protection Association) and Life Safety 101 codes. Northeast Security Systems designs code compliant commercial fire alarm systems, working with the States Fire Marshal's Office and the authorities having jurisdiction.

Our addressable systems provide pinpoint device location for emergency responders. When the fire department arrives on the scene responding to the alarm, they immediately go to the fire panel to determine the location of the fire. Conventional alarms would indicate 'Zone 1', which could be the entire floor of a building. Addressable panels indicate 'Boiler Room Heat'. Considering fires can double every two minutes-What a time saver!

Also the NFPA72 National Fire Alarm Code mandates that inspections of Commercial Fire Alarm Systems be done at least annually or depending on the type of system, monthly, quarterly or semi-annually. We offer several choices of service plans and inspection contracts that put your system on an automatic schedule for inspection on the interval of your choice. After the inspection has been completed, we provide you with a copy of our Inspection Report to keep on site as required by the National Fire Alarm Code and States Fire Marshal's Office. Let us take the hassle of remembering when your inspection is due off your hands.
