Alarm Technician

Alarm Technicians, install, service and inspect low voltage security and fire alarm, video and access control systems. Most work takes place in the field interacting with homeowners, facilities managers, contractors and local inspecting authorities. Our reputation for details, coupled with our discriminating customer base requires our employees take pride in a job well done. Emergency on-call coverage is required with compensation and portal-to-portal overtime paid.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Customer service
• Valid driver's license
• Licensed as limited low-voltage, journeyman or master electrician

Alarm Operations Center — Operator

Alarm Operations Center Operators monitor and dispatch for our monitored customers for security and fire alarm systems, environmental alarms and medical emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Operators also handle calls for a busy answering service. Training is provided.

• Communication skills and pleasant phone manner
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
• Flexibility for rotating shifts
• Occasional availability to serve as “backup” or “on-call” capacity.

System Designer — Sales

Systems Designers work with existing and potential customers to design a security, fire, video surveillance, or access control system. Job performance includes: site visits, equipment research, drawing floor plans, calculating equipment and labor costs following NFPA Code. System Designers work with customers, prepare proposals for customer approval and ensure satisfaction after the sale.

• Sales experience helpful, but not necessary
