Panic / Hold Up Devices
Panic and hold up devices are no longer limited to financial institutions.
Convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, courts, jewelry stores, and any business with a cash register can benefit from a panic or hold up button at an employee's fingertips.
No need to pick up the phone to call for help. When you press the panic or hold up button a signal is sent to our 24 Hour Alarm Operations Center. The dispatcher will follow the protocol you have already established for the alarm. Usually, the call list is set up to call the Authorities first, then a manager off site. You do not want a dispatcher calling the premises to make sure everything is okay when the employees could be in a panic or hold up situation.
Panic or hold up buttons can be placed almost anywhere so the employee can discretely push the button without being noticed. We also offer wireless buttons that can be carried with the employee so they don’t have to be at their station to call for help.
